Sometimes we just don’t know how to say things directly. It’s always about dropping hints, tweeting things that have a ring like, “I bet you think this tweet is about you”. Why can’t we just go up to the person and tell them what the problem is? Why are we so afraid of confrontation? Things like this make things more difficult and can cause rifts. Oftentimes than not, it causes miscommunication or no communication at all.
For my character in one of my short films, she wasn’t afraid to confront her boyfriend. She actually had the balls to tell him right to his face what she wanted. But he took it the wrong way – for the better, maybe?
